Review: back to work in style with Jacamo

Hubs recently started a new job and with the change in seasons, he was on the look out for a new coat that would look smart for work and could weather whatever weather we have in store. He's 6 foot 4 inches and broad shouldered, so sometimes, finding clothes that fit - particularly in arm length - and that look the part for work can be a real challenge for him.

Step in Jacamo. They have a huge selection of menswear including options designed for tall men, and when they asked if Ste would be interested in trying something from their current collection, including coats, it couldn't have come at a better time.

When we first looked at the styles available, I wasn't sure if we would find the kind of thing Ste was looking for, or if it would be the right style for his build, be too expensive or that there would be too few options to consider.

But I was wrong; Jacamo had a huge selection of coats and jackets and there were at least 10 that I highlighted for Ste to look at that would fit the bill.

In the end, we landed on the Williams and Brown London Raincoat (£99) and when it arrived a couple of days later, we were both impressed by the quality and style.

It has a good weight material perfect for keeping out the chill and for coping with showers, and the mac double-breasted cut looks smart, with detailing at the shoulders and with bold buttons.

It's the perfect coat for Ste as it fits over the smart clothes or suits he wears for work and it suits his frame, with plenty of length in the arms and a good fit across his shoulders.

For Ste, it suits his needs and has useful pockets too, and for me, I think he looks very smart and handsome (I know I am biased!).

Ste hasn't shopped at Jacamo before but I am sure that he will now that he has seen the range that's on offer, the fit for a man of his stature and the quality too. This coat will take him through the seasons ahead and I have no doubt it'll stand him in good stead for years to come.
