October Half-Term: North Yorkshire Moors Railway Light Spectacular

As the darker nights draw in, the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) is preparing for its annual October Light Spectacular Event which will depart from Pickering station every evening during October Half-Term, from the 22nd to the 30th October 2022, at 6pm and 7.45pm.

What: Illuminated Light Spectacular immersive experience pulled by steam train

As the darker nights draw in, the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) is preparing for its annual October Light Spectacular Event which will depart from Pickering station every evening during October Half-Term, from the 22nd to the 30th October 2022, at 6pm and 7.45pm.

Tickets for the hugely popular audio and visual sensory journey adorned with 17,000 LEDs are £30 per person, and include an hour-long illuminated experience from Pickering to Levisham station. 

On this journey, passengers become part of the show by singing and dancing along with a synchronised flashing wristband and entertainment by the NYMR’s compere, TV’s ‘Voice Over Man’.
