As you may have gathered, I love crafts and I LOVE Christmas. With it being Ethan's first Christmas, I'm really pulling out all the stops this year and I'm planning on getting festive and creative at the same time.

Each week throughout November, I'm going to share a crafty Christmas project with you.

This Friday will be the first of four posts and I'll be showing you how I turn one blank MDF advent calendar house (bought from Hobbycraft for £15) into a family memento we will display and use every year, with the help of some decoupage, a lick of paint and some wooden numbers.
