By Chloe Ferry matte liquid lipsticks... by me

I have an addiction... to lipstick. I have far too many, I'm sure, but there's so many different shapes and finises - even when it comes to nudes, I have several that I love that have different tones to them, to suit what I might be wearing.

Of late, I have become particularly obsessed with matte finishes and liquid lipsticks in particular. I have several Stila shades and love them, but having bought all the shades that suit me, yet I still felt that there must be more out there for me.

Introducing By Chloe Ferry.

Now I will admit that I didn't know who Chloe was. I haven't watched Geordie Shore before, but have seen the stars pop up here and there. When I first heard about her new cosmetics range, what drew me in was the matte liquid lipsticks, in stunning shades, rather than her name. For some people it may be the other way around, which of course is all part of the appeal, and looking at Chloe's social accounts, it's clear that this lady knows how to give it some lip. She has the most amazing full lips I think I've ever seen, and the shades all jumped out at me.

There's 12 shades to choose from, many of which are so popular, they go out of stock every so often, such is the demand - but they do come back in, so you can keep a watchful eye to snap them up. I was spoilt for choice when picking a pout to review, but I opted for Passion. As I mentioned earlier, I love nudes but no two nudes are the same. I wanted something that I could wear every day but that would enhance my natural lip colour.

When my By Chloe Ferry lip gloss arrived, I was so excited. The shade looked delicious (lipstick can look delicious, right?) and I'd describe it as a peachy nude. It glides onto your lips with a creamy formula that doesn't slip around but doesn't feel too thick either, and you have a minute or so to fill in your lips perfectly before the lipstick sets to a matte finish. You then don't feel like you're wearing anything.

Unlike some matte lipsticks or liquid glosses I have tried in lighter / neutral shades, this doesn't feel cakey and the colour lasts quite a long time, without clumping.

I've seriously tried to up my selfie game but I just don't think I have a pout to compete with Chloe... check out the By Chloe Ferry Instagram account if you want to see some pout pros showcasing these fab matte liquid lipsticks, of search the #bychloeferry hashtag...

Take a look at my main Instagram feed or my style feed for more selfie snaps.

I am so in love with this shade but have my eye on a few more... Envy, Rose, Pulse and Blush, for starters!
