My autumn look and current faves

My autumn look goes something like this: layers (like a dress, opaque tights and a cardi), ankle boots, chunky scarf, a rich toned lip and similar nails. And more often than not, is wearing something that's mustard toned - I blooming LOVE yellow so come autumn, I can't get enough of mustard and ochre coloured clothing and accessories.

Along with my new boots, my new skincare routine, and my obsession with long lasting liquid matte lipsticks, there's a few other things that are fast becoming my autumn staples...

Victoria Secrets scents: I am yet to find my signature scent but whilst I try and find the perfect perfume, I'm loving these body mists. There's so many scents available and for around £8-9 in Superdrug, these are a bargain buy as they'll last ages and the scent pay off is great.

Chunky scarf: I bought this one in Accessorize last year and then bought it in two other colours. It's soft and can really add something to an outfit.

Stila Matte'n'Metal eyeshadow palette: this is a thing of beauty. I am a HUGE Stila fan and they're eyeshadows have real staying power. This palette was a new launch earlier this year and has some great tones for autumn, whether keeping your look more nude and natural or vamping up a little with a darker shade or metallic edge. They're fab, blend and mix together well and last too. Worth the investment (£39).

Bourjois 123 Perfect Colour Correction Cream: this has been in my make up bag for a while now and is one of the few items I have replaced when I used my first one all up. I'm pretty frivolous with beauty products and love trying new things but this is going to be a staple. 123 Perfect Colour colour corrects for redness, which I have quite a bit of naturally, and to brighten skin tone. It blends really easily, doesn't feel heavy yet gives good coverage and honestly, my skin is left with a really healthy looking glow. It's one of those surprise products and when my foundation ran out last week, I returned to this and remembered just how much I love it. Great for keeping your skin hydrated too.

Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color: It's hard for me to part from my matt liquid lipsticks but I do quite like this new range and Cranberry is a great shade for this time of year; a rich, deep toned red but with the sheer finish and buildable colour, this makes a nice alternative to a matt lip that can sometimes look or feel dry, and if you're already suffering with dry skin, then this isn't good.

Batiste Rose Gold Dry Shampoo: I don't know what I did before dry shampoo and Batiste is hands down the best out there that I've tried. This new edition, Rose Gold, as a really nice perfume scent to it and is my favourite so far, plus the super-size means it'll last a good while.

Long-line leather look jacket with fur lining: I've seen these everywhere and it seems from the supermarket to the high street to high end, you can get your hands on this look. My jacket is from Dorothy Perkins, £55, and is fully fur lined so super warm and with chunky silver zip and buckle detailing. I love it! It's now got 25% (damn!), so I may be tempted to buy the burgundy one too...

What are you loving right now? What's your autumn look?
