Bag a baby bargain - Aldi's specialbuy event starts online Sunday, in store Thursday!

Sullivan is four months old now and growing all the time, so we are up a size in everything. Luckily Aldi’s Baby and Toddler Event is returning TOMORROW, so it's a great time to bag a great deal and to stock up on those essentials.

The Specialbuy event will be available online from Sunday 21st April and in-store from Thursday 25th April and, as always, they promise to have an amazing selection of products for little ones ranging from books and clothing, to travel chairs, bath toys and more, all available at low prices.

A day in the life of a child at Norfolk House Nursery, Birmingham

Sending your child off to nursery can be quite daunting the first time around and I fully admit to sobbing as I left Ethan on his first day - but I needn't have worried as he settled in quickly and had such a lovely time there, which made every drop off after that little bit easier.

* Advertorial feature

I think when you're looking at nurseries, one of the biggest things you want to know is what will your baby do all day. Who will look after them? What will they eat? What routine will they have? How will you know how they are doing?

I went along to visit Norfolk House Nursery on Norfolk Road - there is a second Edgbaston nursery in their group, on Harborne Road - to take a good look around and see what they have to offer little ones. I used to work just around the corner and was excited to see inside the beautiful building.

"We provide early education and care to children between the ages of 3 months and 4 years.  At the heart of everything we do is an uncompromising commitment to providing your child with the fullest opportunity to learn and develop in a safe environment."

Our wedding day

Our wedding day was such a happy day for us and we prepared everything down to the finest detail. As a bride, I wanted to have special jewellery, such as the selection you can find from Qucy Jewels, and of course a dress with wow factor, and hubs wanted the ceremony details to be just so.

I spent a long time researching and putting together our own table decorations; you can create your own favours too, buying chocolates or sugared almonds and then bagging them up in sustainable flexible packaging.

We have the fondest memories of our special day. We rely a lot on each other for support and there's no-one else I'd rather spend time with so today, as with every day, I am thanking my lucky stars for having Stephen in my life.

If you'd like to read more about our wedding day, you can read this post, but here are a few of my favourite photos - mainly because we look the best we ever have but also because they show just how happy we were, and luckily still are today...
