Both the young and young at heart should dig out their finest fancy dress and head to the 80-acre zoo for a memorable day out, which includes a best dressed competition, in which cheeky elves are the judges, and the much-loved Finders Keepers, where children will search for hidden penguin soft toys to take home.

Twycross Zoo is the place to be this Christmas with so many opportunities to see Santa, including his cosy story time as he shares his enchanting yuletide tales. Visitors can also get messy making tasty treats for the animals and join the man of the moment on his penguin encounter, where they’ll learn about this magnificent species and their playful personalities.
