Home sweet home - our personalised canvas

As you'll know, I love everything to do with home ideas and our home is full of colour, personality and little touches. In particular, I like creating wall displays with photos, framed prints and other items (just take a look at my hallway update, lounge makeover and Flying Tiger haul posts if you want to see what I mean!).

I'm also a big fan of buying prints and frames and canvas photos for people as gifts. It's a really nice way to create something special and show that you have put thought into the present, and everyone likes to have something up on display in their home to make them smile.

I was invited to review an item from the personalised print canvas website Posh Canvas, which I was really excited about and had a little difficulty deciding which one to go for.

They offer a photo canvas service, so you can upload the photo you would like them to translate to canvas, in your chosen size. I always have trouble picking just one though! If there's been a special occasion recently, or a really nice photo taken, then it's a great opportunity to put this onto canvas to enjoy; something my in-laws have done for each of their children's weddings.

If you're looking for a different kind of wall display, then Posh Canvas also has a wide range of prints to choose from. You can search by theme - song lyrics, special occasions - or just have a browse and see what catches your eye.

I particularly liked the love and family wall art designs and really liked this House and Heart print, as it can be personalised to make something unique to you.

With this print, you can personalise with your surname, your address (which I've edited out in the photos in this post, for obvious reasons), the date you became a family and the names of everyone who lives there.

I chose to have our pets names added to our canvas - so don't worry that we have three secret children with unusual names!

The Posh Canvas team were really helpful and quickly put together a proof for my design to approve before making the canvas. After this, my print was made and arrived just two days later, well packaged and secure.

I was really pleased with how the canvas turned out. The frame is good quality and it feels really sturdy so I am sure it will be something we will be proud to hang for years to come.

I chose this canvas print in A4 size, which is priced at £25 (also available as A3 for another £9, all the way up to A0 if you should want it so big). I also opted for the beige and white option, as it looked best suited to our hallway, where I am going to hang it so you see if when you come into the house; all beige and grey and white are other colour options for this specific design).

I'm really happy with the print, love the personalisation (which is what makes it a lovely gift) and the service has been great too.

If you're looking to get ahead of Christmas shopping or have someone that's always difficult to buy for, this or one of the other canvas prints might just be the present you're looking for.

* I received this canvas free of charge in return for a review but as always, my reviews are honest and opinions my own.
