Go bananas for the Minions range from Arthur Price

Ever since the funny yellow creatures appeared in the original Despicable Me film a few years ago, it seems that the Minions have taken over and stolen many hearts - including that of my son. With their silly antics, funny language and crazy capers, it's easy to see why they appeal to children (big and small) and with the latest film instalment, Despicable Me 3, it's time to go bananas for the yellow guys in dungarees all over again.

A firm favourite for many, if you have a child who's a Minion fan or know someone who is, then you'll no doubt love the new dinner and cutlery sets from specialists Arthur Price. The perfect gift and something that will last a lifetime, these gift sets are really quite special and a must for any serious Minion lover.

I was kindly sent both sets to share with Ethan and with you and it's safe to say, he's over the moon with them. He actually helped me unpack the box and squealed with delight when he recognised the yellow faces, and excitedly said 'thank you so much Mummy!'.

Both sets are beautifully packaged and finished. Retailing for £24.95 each, in one you have av china plate, bowl and mug and in the other, a set of cutlery. There's also other combinations available and items sold individually, with prices starting from £8.95, so it's worth taking a look at the whole Arthur Price Despicable Me 3 range.

Ethan hasn't stopped asking for another drink in his fun new mug (I think the china makes him feel really grown up, even if he just has squash in it!) and we've added his new dining set to the Welsh dresser at it is so well made, it seems a shame to leave it in the cupboard with his other, much less fun and plastic based dinnerware.

Great as a gift, for a birthday or special event, the price is very good for the quality and it's not too much if a clumsy toddler happens to break an item.

If you know a Minion fan, then you'd be bonkers not to check this collection out.

Plus, there's a couple more days for you to have the chance of scooping a set for yourself too, just by pulling your best silly minion-style face, and tagging Arthur Price on Instagram or posting on their Facebook page.

* Items featured received for review purposes, but all my opinions and Ethan's smiles are genuine, as always.
