The Ordinary Moments / Living Arrows #5/52 - dungarees & animals at a fun day out to West Midlands Safari Park

For this week's #LivingArrows photography project, I want to share some snaps from our day put at West Midlands Safari Park.

We had some lovely sunshine on Saturday and Ethan had his new dungarees to début. Don't you just love dungarees? I remember how much I loved wearing them, into my early teens, and I'd love a pair myself again - but don't think I'm in any way trendy enough to pull them off.

Ethan, on the other hand, can.

I picked up this pair from Next and when we went to the sarafi park, it was the perfect chance to let him model his new clothes.

It was a bright day and Ethan loved seeing all the animals, more aware of what was going on and naming most of them as we drove around and excited to see the kigers (tigers). horseys (zebras), penguins, crocodiles and snakes in particular.

He was worn out by the end of the day and slept all the way home, no doubt dreaming of his safari adventure.

This is what Ethan does when we ask him to put his thumbs up - he can't quite get it right and it makes us smile so much when he does this

He's started putting his hands on his hips - and I fear he may have got this from me...!

  1. Such gorgeous photos and I absolutely love my girls in dungarees, I think they are my favourite thing to dress them in. I have some that I wore before I was pregnant but I never knew whether I could really get away with them! Every time I click on your blog I just love your header, I think it is my favourite I have seen! xx

  2. What lovely photos. Kids do look sweet in dungarees, although I gave up on them with N quite early on - just was a pain for changing a nappy I found. And I doubt he'd wear them now. #livingarrows

The fingers instead of thumbs makes me laugh so much :) :)
